If you need a prescription on one of your regular medications, we prefer that you request a refill at the time of your office visit. You may also contact your pharmacy a week in advance and have them fax a request over to our office if it is medically urgent that you take your prescriptions. Medication refill requests can now be processed online from the Athena Patient Portal as well. You are able to access the patient portal from our website or by going to http://9460.portal.athenahealth.com Please note that you must register and create your portal login in advance. Further, if you need any prescription DME supplies, new or continued, including wheel chair, diabetic shoes, braces, glucometer, lancets, or strips, please request a written prescription at the time of your visit. We will no longer fax any of these to your pharmacies as they may require face-to-face evaluation and documentation in your chart.
